lulu book revu
The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz

Here's the latest installment of our lulu book revu! We hope you enjoy and maybe even check out this book sometime.

BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
DO YOUR BEST

All these things are easier said than done. In don Miguel Ruiz’s book The Four Agreements he discusses each agreement in great detail and helps the reader envision their lives doing these things every day.

This book is a quick read, but one that will make you think long after you’ve put it down. It’s the kind of book that you can read and re-read a couple times a year. This book will help you center yourself, help you do a gut-check and get right.

The best way to live your life is by letting go of the past and living in the present moment, right here and now. Whatever life takes away from you, let it go. When you surrender and let go of the past, you allow yourself to be fully alive in the moment. Letting go of the past means you can enjoy the dream that is happening right now.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ IT

  • The agreements are universal, no matter where you are in your life or what you are going through, you will relate to all of them in one way or another.
  • The concepts in this book have been around for thousands of years and will remain long after we are gone, that has to tell you something about how they can affect you here, now and always.
  • It’s simply written, it gets to the point and it gives you the resources to CHANGE YOUR LIFE. What more could you ask for?

What some of our lululemon employees have to say about the book:

“There is something so powerful about really owning your life by being integral with your word, not making everything about you, getting out of your head and going out there and living your best life everyday.” ~Emily Crozier (Store Manager)

“I loved the simplicity of it and the straight forward way the author talks about how simple life could be. It really made me sit back and think about several situations in my life and how I could work on living by these agreements.” ~Whitney Fitzpatrick (Keyleader)

UP NEXT: A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

This lulu book revu was written by Jaqlyn Collier (Keyleader) & Angeline Dawson (Educator) of lululemon athletica Biltmore.

We love books, yes we do! We love books, how about you?

At lululemon Biltmore, we are all about growing and being the best we can be and one way we love to do that is to READ!

You may have caught our book review where a few of our educators read Aspire by Kevin Hall, a book in our lululibrary. They wrote some notes, shared what they loved and put together the first ever lulu book revu!

We hope to keep doing this to not only educate ourselves, but our guests about what books we love reading and why we love reading them.

Stay tuned for another revu very, VERY soon!

What have YOU read lately? SHARE! We want to know.

Are you superduperawesomeamazing?
WE WANT YOU!

lululemon athletica Biltmore is looking for a ROCK STAR part-time educator.

This job is for you if:
• You like to meet people and help them find that perfect match in products and activity that is the yin to their yang. You rival Clint in getting a thrill out of “making someone’s day!”
• You are a bit of a talent scout by way of law of attraction. You spot people amongst our guests or in the community who have the skills, attitude and drive to be considered as part of our family and people can’t help but want to interact with you!
• You are passionate about health and fitness (without having lost all appreciation for the occasional Ben & Jerry couch session).
• You like having your yoga class paid for. Yup, a perk of this job is being able to take weekly classes at the studios and gyms in the community!

Check out more details here and fill out an application if you're feeling sassy!
